To the Antigo neighbor and classmate who ahd the exct initials I have (LJL) and when my class ring was lost and turned up 25 years later on the State Capitol Grounds-found by a groundskeeper  there of whom I worked with his sister at the time.... (which I knew the ring was mine at the time)  was questioned by the Antigo newspaper as to who was the true owner LJL (engraved inside the ring)- was it Leonard 's or Larry's.  Frankly I doubt Leaonard even bought a ring, class of 1969, but it did have a nick in it that I distinctly remembered occurring when I had it.   Long story as to how it was on the Capitol grounds and found and the delay to notify Antigo newspaper after it was found.  Weird thing is the guy who found it was a sister to our office receptionist.  Small world.  I got it back from the Governor's mansion where his office was, Thompson was Governor then. But I knew Leonard from the "hood" and I offer my sympathies to his family over this news.
